My own health issues, over a decade ago, got me interested in nutrition, and made me aware of the importance of healthy eating and healthy living, and the impact they have on our bodies. After being diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and had medication prescribed by my doctor, I started to do my own research into my condition, as medication did not always help me. The more I learned about good nutrition and the benefits of it, more I wanted to learn about it. This led me to study nutrition and to have training in health coaching. The knowledge I gained through my nutrition course and coaching training, was an important addition to my practice, which, with my other knowledge and skills, helped me to support the health and the well-being of my clients in so many ways.
